The flour magically settles to the bottom, forming a crust.</p>
<p>I make this pie about once a week. It&#8217;s that good! Using a glass pie pan typically produces a better crust, at least it does for me. However, if you prefer to use an aluminum pan&#8230; go for it!</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been toying with the possibility of adding pumpkin to the recipe and topping it with pumpkin pie spice instead of nutmeg. Can you say yum?</p>
